Motive Boardwear was founded in Winter Park, Florida, February 2008 to answer the millennial generation’s call for eco-friendly, organic and recycled clothing. We aim to be the first truly responsible wake and surf lifestyle apparel brand. Our vintage fit t-shirts, polo shirts, thermals, jersey hoodies, fleece hoodies, walk shorts and board shorts are all made with 100% organic and recycled material. Our graphics are not mere billboards for brand promotion; they actually convey a message. Also, a portion of our proceeds at Motive Boardwear will be going to "green" charities.
Motive Boardwear is for every day wake and surf riders so it will be promoted by amateur riders- not big name pro athletes or celebrities. We believe now is the time to be true to ones’ self. Everyone needs to pitch in and be responsible. The primacy of self-expression will not be denied. The moment will be lived to its fullest.
Each and every movement of Motive Boardwear will be used to “Reverse the Damage” of centuries’ worth of neglect--the damage that has been done to our planet, our society, our lives. We project our "green" theme through fresh and edgy graphics, the use of innovative techniques for embellishment and the use of eco-friendly washes and treatments.
